2. Services Provided

MindsUp operates as a childcare and daycare service provider. Through our website, parents and guardians may:

  • Learn about our programs, workshops, and services
  • Register and enroll children in programs
  • Make inquiries or contact us
  • Access updates, policies, and resources

3. Eligibility

  • Enrollment is open to children within the age groups specified by MindsUp.
  • A parent or legal guardian must complete registration and consent forms.
  • MindsUp reserves the right to accept or deny enrollment at its sole discretion.

4. Fees and Payments

  • All fees must be paid in accordance with the rates and payment schedule provided at registration.
  • Payments may be made by credit card, e‑transfer, cheque, or other accepted methods.
  • Late payments may result in penalties or suspension of services.
  • Fees are subject to change with notice.

5. Health and Safety

  • Parents/guardians must disclose any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs during registration.
  • MindsUp follows all applicable Ontario childcare safety regulations.
  • Sick children may not attend daycare until they meet return‑to‑care health requirements.
  • Emergency medical care may be sought if deemed necessary, and the parent/guardian will be responsible for associated costs.

6. Privacy and Confidentiality

  • MindsUp collects and stores personal information in accordance with Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA).
  • Information is used only for the purpose of providing childcare services and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
  • Our website may collect cookies or analytics data to improve user experience.

7. Code of Conduct

  • Children are expected to treat staff and peers with respect.
  • Parents/guardians are expected to maintain respectful communication with staff.
  • MindsUp reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if behaviour endangers the safety or well‑being of others.

8. Website Use

  • The MindsUp.ca website is for informational and enrollment purposes only.
  • Users must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, or post harmful content.
  • MindsUp does not guarantee that the website will be error‑free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • MindsUp is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website.
  • While we take every precaution to ensure children’s safety, parents/guardians acknowledge that participation in daycare programs carries inherent risks.

10. Intellectual Property

  • All content on MindsUp.ca (logo, text, graphics, photos, videos, and materials) is the property of MindsUp and protected by Canadian copyright law.
  • No content may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

11. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Withdrawal from programs must be communicated in writing.
  • Refunds, if any, will follow the policy provided at the time of registration.
  • MindsUp reserves the right to cancel programs due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case refunds or credits may be offered.

12. Amendments

MindsUp reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with the effective date. Continued use of our website and services constitutes acceptance of changes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable Canadian federal laws.
